Elated and Terrified

Yes that is that feeling you get when something you really wanted to happen happens.

For me this time around it was having my game concept not only make the faculty cut, but also get selected by my team as the game we will spend the next few months making.

When I was delivering my concept pitch I really didn't want to get my hopes up, though of course there was that part of me that just "knew" it was solid. When the results came back and mine was one of five game concepts selected I was so excited I wanted to yell at everyone to make my game lol.

When I popped onto Skype later to find that my team had all but already voted on what game they wanted I was even more excited. With no comment what-so-ever from me they'd actually chosen to make my game.

Then it hit me, like about 12 tons of bricks wrapped in rebar and coated in cement. We are going to be making my game ...
