First Month Down

My team and I have now been working on The Floating Isles project for just about 3 weeks. We've managed to implement a number of mechanics, including but not limited to: A glider (with both simple arcade mode controls and a full simulation mode), Thermal (Gravity flux) regions that affect the glider, a targeted gravity beam that can pull objects to the player or pull the player to special anchor points, and a number of other supporting mechanics for those things.

We've made alot of progress and in the last few days we've also begun to start putting together some islands to get the world started. Hopefully in the coming weeks I'll be able to post some images and maybe even video, pretty as it probably won't be seeing as we are still very prototype and don't have many pretty models to work with ... yet.
